The Maroota Muster is the annual P & C spring carnival. It was first held back in 1981 as a school fete and has had many facelifts over the years. At one stage it was an arts and craft festival that was held over 2 days. It then had a medieval theme and in 2003 was renamed the Maroota Muster. It is held every year on the 3rd weekend of August and is the biggest event of the year attracting people from all over Sydney.
It is an absolutely fantastic day involving the whole school and the surrounding community. Everyone comes together to help raise vital funds for our wonderful school.
Events and displays include:
☻ Chocolate Wheel ☻ Vintage Machines ☻ Woodchopping
☻ Stalls ☻ Woodturning ☻ Sheep Shearing
☻ Jumping Castles ☻ Kids Rides ☻ Knight School
☻ Show and Shine ☻ Petting Zoo ☻ Pony Rides ☻ Dance Displays
We also have a large plant stall, hot food, fruit and vegetable stall, and the ever popular cake stall where 100% of the profits go back into the school.
This year the Muster is being held on Sunday 19th August 2018 from 10am-3pm. We are a 15 minute drive from Glenorie or 30 minutes from Windsor. Our school is in a lovely rural setting with picture postcard views right across to the Blue Mountains. Why not take a nice leisurely drive out to the Muster, enjoy the beautiful scenery, browse the stalls and enjoy some yummy food whilst trying your hand at winning some of our fantastic prizes on the chocolate wheel. There is plenty of off street parking and heaps to keep the whole family busy.
